Matt has been with us since 2013, he was our first employee. He has an impressive background, having worked alongside Brad in two custom home build companies prior to Nickerson Customs.
Dedicated and knowledgeable, Matt approaches every project with unwavering commitment, treating it as if it were his very own. With his expertise and attention to detail, you can trust that every job he undertakes is completed to perfection.

Shawn Griepsma
Shawn's journey with Matt and Brad dates back to their high school days. He joined the Nickerson Customs team in 2014 on what was meant to be a temporary basis.
However, Shawn's passion for our work soon ignited, and he became an indispensable part of our team.
Driven by determination, Shawn pursued and obtained his red seal certification, enabling him to excel as a skilled carpenter and site supervisor. His can-do attitude and infectious energy have won the hearts of our clients.
Shawn goes above and beyond, to ensure every project stays on track and runs seamlessly.
Scott Alston
Scott is that rare gem you thought you could never find. He stepped into our world as a co-op student in 2018, full of enthusiasm and knowledge, he fitted right in.
Eager to learn, Scott embraced every opportunity to work alongside Brad, Matt, and Shawn, soaking up their expertise like a sponge. His journey in construction began with his father, a skilled cabinet maker, who imparted invaluable wisdom.
Scott's passion for perfection shines through in every project he tackles. From mastering craftsmanship to excelling with clients, he effortlessly embodies the best of both worlds.

Sara VanderscheeR
As Brad's sister, Sara has been a steadfast supporter throughout our journey, and in 2019, she joyfully became an integral part of our team. With her exceptional organizational skills, Sara keeps us on track and up to date with all our administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.
Despite her prior experience in non-construction industries, Sara swiftly adapted to our line of work, showcasing her resourcefulness. She brings a wealth of qualities that extend far beyond this page – her selflessness, dedication, and numerous other admirable traits are evident to anyone who knows her.
Her contributions go beyond her role, enriching our work environment and fostering a sense of unity among the team.
